Supported processes

To make the best decision on which software to use to make cost calculations, it is important to know which features and processes are incooperated in the system. Therefore, we proudly want to present the processes that are already incooperated in our software. But we don't stop there, if you would like us to add a process, let us know! We may have the possibility to intergrate it short term.

FAQ

Licencing & cost

What types of licensing do you offer?

Our software comes at a node-locked (single user) or enterprise (company wide, unlimited) licence. Exact terms can be customized for each of our customers.

What are the cost per licence?

The licencing fees strongly depend on the licence structure, selected options and frequency of updates & support. Please contact us for further information.

Practicals & integration

What operating systems does the ShouldCoster support?

The ShouldCoster runs on Windows (10 or higher) & Linux.

Does the ShouldCoster run locally or cloud based?

The ShouldCoster is a local desktop application. Calculations, files & masterdata can be stored & shared in your current file sharing system. (e.g. Google Drive, MS Sharepoint or VPS)

Can I import my own cost data into the ShouldCoster Database?

Yes, our Masterdata-Editor allows you to filter, adjust and import the cost data used in the ShouldCoster models.

Can I export my calculation results to other applications?

Yes, Cost reporting to Excel, powerpoint, PDF & CSV is available for all ShouldCoster modules.

Can I import CAD drawings or other 3D data?

No. The ShouldCoster contains numeric cost models that do not require 3D data. Usefull when calculating costs in the concept phase when detailed drawings are not ready yet.

Do you already have 3D drawings? Simply measure the dimensions and areas in your standard 3D viewer, and copy-paste the results!

Support, Updates & customization

Can I customize the software with my own logo’s and corporate identity?

Yes, customization of the software interface & reports outs is available.

At what frequency is your cost data updated?

The data for our cost models (e.g. material & machine rates) are updated annually by default. More frequent updates are available on request.

Do you offer user training & support?

Yes, user support & training can be included in your licence, or requested separately.

Do you also offer cost calculations and Cost & Value Engineering services?

Yes, Manuformance also offers cost calculations and cost & value engineering services. Please refer to www.manuformance.com for more information about our engineering services.

Do you also offer customized cost models?

Yes, our cost engineers can create custom ShouldCoster models & calculation templates according to your preferences, (inhouse) manufacturing facilities or (existing) cost models. Please contact us for more information.
